Lake Watch Life Rings

by · July 24, 2012

You may have noticed…

You may have notice the new additions to the Lake’s landscape. As part of our ongoing Lake Watch initiative, the MLRA has installed Lake Watch Life Rings at six different sites around the Lake. These life rings are attached to 50 feet of line and mounted on five foot high aluminum posts so that they can be easily seen and accessed in an emergency. The MLRA Lake Watch initiative of Rescue, Prevention and Education was sparked by the tragic drowning last year of two young girls.
