The Lake

Musselman’s Lake is a vibrant community that has evolved around a 123-acre (0.50 km2) kettle lake known by locals simply as “The Lake”. Our community is located about 6 km north of Stouffville.

Not many people realize this but Musselman’s Lake is part of the Oak Ridges Moraine and it is actually the dividing point between the Lake Ontario and Lake Simcoe watersheds. The Lake feeds a small tributary to the East Holland River, which then flows into Lake Simcoe.

Virtually all water front property in the community of Musselman’s Lake is private residential property.

Musselman’s Lake is one of Whitchurch-Stouffville’s most significant natural and recreational resources.

The Musselman’s Lake Residents Association (MLRA) is dedicated to ensuring that the Community of Musselman’s Lake continues to be a vibrant community where all can enjoy the Lake and all the recreation associated with an enjoyable lake environment.
